At Loose Leaf, we work collaboratively on every project. Our clients have the benefit not only of their individual agent's expertise but of the combined experience and vision of the team. Our agents have diverse backgrounds in publishing, writing, literature, editing, marketing, sales, social media, publicity, culinary arts, anthropology, linguistics, theatre, music, travel, real estate, library science, horticulture, and more.

Loose Leaf Literary Agency was founded in Portland, Oregon in June 2012 by Kristen Svenson and Casey Woodworth, two publishing professionals dedicated to connecting good writers with
good publishers.
At Loose Leaf, we are hands-on during every step of the editing, reviewing, and publishing process. We devote a great deal of time to developing short and long term goals for our titles, and our agents work closely with authors in both editorial and marketing capacities, before, during, and after publication.
